The Opportunity 

 

Having just been awarded the US’s fastest growing agency, we are excited to be expanding our high performing Creative Team. This year, we've secured new strategic partnerships with prestigious Higher Education Universities worldwide. As a Senior Account Manager, you'll lead relationships with our flagship clients, delivering world-class creative across various mediums and platforms. 
 

We are looking for our Senior Account Managers to have a deep understanding of creatively led brand-strategies and campaigns to help us meet and exceed specific client brand, engagement and student recruitment goals. 

 

You'll be leading the relationship and be responsible for the success of our flagship strategic clients. As the Senior Account Manager, you will work with our dedicated teams to deliver world class campaigns across a number of mediums and platforms. 

 
The role 

Our client services team are our relationship makers. They put the client at the heart of everything they do, from thinking and planning to delivery of comprehensive campaigns and creative briefs. As one of our Senior Account Managers you’ll need to have the ability to juggle multiple briefs, deadlines and personalities. 

 

We act as a bridge between clients and the agency, translating the brief, business goals and off-the-record conversations into something the creative team can bounce ideas off of. 

You should be an experienced team player who is an intelligent self-starter, eager to learn with a desire to become part of our rapidly growing agency. Supporting our Account Director(s) in developing integrated marketing communications solutions, you will work with clients on a day-to-day basis assisting with project activity and growth as well as effectively and efficiently managing multiple requests and briefs throughout the team. 

 

We’d expect you to be an opportunity hunter, proactively working with clients but also sharing ideas with our team. Being fluent in creatively-driven marketing tools and embracing digital media would be a big plus point. 

 

Flexibility is key in this role due to our international client base and distributed business model, but it offers a lot of flexibility in return. National and international travel may be required from time to time.

The day to day: 

  • Manage, maintain and measure specified client account relationships on a day-to-day basis, liaising directly with contacts as appropriate and preparing status reports as required. 

  • Consult with clients on creative brief requirements and objectives in order to put together a clear response, in the form of a proposal or formal estimate depending on scale. 

  • Ask questions – your role is information gatherer, you will be viewed as the source of truth 

  • Monitor, manage and administer the timely progress of client projects and client workflow 

  • Organise and schedule project and creative briefs working with client and creative team members and suppliers. 

  • Manage client projects into the supply chain, using ClickUp and approved company systems and process. Lead by example when using company platforms. 

  • Check that projects have been completed as briefed, and work is delivered to company standards. 

  • Effectively manage and maintain up-to-date project administration using our systems including preparation of assets and information into job folders. 

  • Financial administration – raise POs as appropriate, keep our Creative Finance Tracker (CFT) up to date proactively in liaison with the Account Director. 

  • Resource plan and project manage the creative team within Resource Guru to deliver projects. Ensure that timesheets etc. are completed by you and the team. 

  • Take responsibility for identifying opportunities and raising any issues that are identified to the Account Director (or other appropriate senior manager) – be proactive in offering suggestions and solutions. 

  • Travel to client sites as and when required to deliver review meetings. 

  • Attend in-house Hybrid Training as and when it is offered. 

 

What does good look like: 

  • Inspire, motivate and develop team members to deliver quality campaigns that excite our clients 

  • Assist the senior management team in company-wide projects and initiatives. 

  • Work with the wider team on new business pitches and presenting to potential clients to win future accounts 

  • Ability to prioritise workload based on a number of factors – commercial return, client value & significance of relationship to the overall business, requests from colleagues and future aspirations. 

  • Commercial foresight should come naturally – you should be leading across your client numbers and have client forecasts updated in real time. 

 

You should have: 

  • Agency experience working in a client services role 

  • Previous experience of the set-up and management of creative projects would be helpful, however is not a must in this role 

  • An understanding of the creative process within an agency would be beneficial 

  • A highly energetic presence to engage clients and build rapport, whilst galvanising our team to deliver powerful campaigns 

  • A passion for planning, pitching and winning new business 

  • Fantastic attention to detail, organisational skills and a calm presence to deliver under pressure 

  • The ability to build long term relationships and shape the media and marketing strategy for our global partner
