The Opportunity
We’re looking for a Senior Business Development Manager to lead the launch and growth of a new digital product across well-established international markets.
Our business has operated in these regions for over 15 years, and we are now introducing a new product offering. This creates an exciting opportunity to take something new to market, build traction, and generate revenue from the ground up.
This is a true new business role. You will be responsible for creating pipeline, opening doors, and winning new clients, while helping shape how the product is positioned in market.
Supported by an SDR and BDE, and guided by a clear commercial strategy, you will focus on high-quality pipeline generation, strategic selling, and closing complex deals.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives on developing new opportunities and wants to play a visible role in a product launch within an established business.
What You’ll Be Doing
Lead the go-to-market and commercial rollout of a new digital product
Build pipeline through proactive outbound activity and new business development
Identify, engage, and win new clients across target markets
Own the full sales cycle, from discovery through to negotiation and close
Engage senior stakeholders across universities and large organisations
Clearly articulate value, ROI, and strategic impact of a new offering
Gather market feedback to help refine messaging, positioning, and proposition
Secure early adopters and case studies to support future growth
Work closely with SDR and BDE support to scale outreach and opportunities
Maintain momentum across complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles
Mentor junior team members and contribute to a high-performance culture
What We’re Looking For
5+ years’ experience in B2B sales, ideally within digital, media, tech, or related sectors
Proven success in new business sales and outbound pipeline generation
Experience managing end-to-end, consultative sales processes
Comfortable selling to senior stakeholders in complex organisations
Strong ability to open doors and build relationships from scratch
Confidence positioning and selling new or evolving products
Adaptable and resilient, with the ability to operate in a launch-phase environment
Self-motivated, proactive, and driven to build revenue
